Christian and Amber

Our story

We met at church in August 2011, when Amber moved to Maryland for grad school. Our first conversation and time together was very enjoyable. When we left that evening, we each thought that we would like to get to know the other better (though we weren't necessarily thinking about dating). Then school started and life got busy, so it was a while before we were able to spend time together again.

Our first real date was in October and we had a great time. Things took off from there! Amber spent Thanksgiving with Christian and his family, and Christian went home with Amber before Christmas, where he met her family. While in Utah, Christian asked her father for his blessing, then proposed to Amber.
